ENTER THE DARKSIDE: VIVE LE ROCK GOTH SPECIAL

Seeing this brought me more joy than you can know! VLR have been amazing when it comes to covering NFD, we can't thank the VLR teams enough. They have plenty of Goth related articles each year but this takes the biscuit!

I knew it was coming but seeing the cover in all its Goth glory still took my breath away. It is rare our scene sees something like this and we are honored that Vive Le Rock as us to participate in it at all.

My personal reasons for being in any of the Goth bands I have has been as much to be any part of keeping the scene healthy and alive as it has been enjoy it from the other side of the stage.

Some awesome classic bands there for sure and ourselves and the fantastic @thencomessilence representing more recent bands. A great mix!

THE DUST SETTLES

As the dust settles in the aftermath of two and half weeks of NFD madness in the UK culminating in our return to live shows after a break of over ten years we are starting to gather our minds in a realization that all the hard work from Team NFD over the past years has come to fruition and our faith and dreams are now manifested in a way that moments ago seemed as mist.

TWO MOMENTS BETWEEN US

Everyone here is deeply touched and humbled by the support and welcome back we have received at both the Gothic Monstrosity warm up show in Birmingham and the NFD comeback show in London at the Dome. These were truly special moments for us that we will never forget and existed because of everyone involved in every dimension from us to you. We thank you deeply for being there with us on this journey.

BEHIND THE SCENES

We have had an incredible team of people come together that made this happen. Many of which have warmed our souls with their belief and support and some that have quite frankly blown my mind with the dedication and faith in our cause.

Ed Shorrock, Ol Kenny, Robert Barham, Horrible Herbert, Frank Flag and Flag Promotions, Ed Grassby, Wild Bill Buttock...you are all Legends!

Also the bands that have joined us at the two shows, Skeletal Family, Cold In Berlin, 13th Chime, Rhombus & The Pink Diamond Revue! It has been our pleasure to share a stage with you all.

FOR WHAT'S TO COME...

We leave you today with a few stills pulled from Horrible Herberts video footage of the London Show. There will be more and some video clips but all in good time as we have to get our next plans into motion first.

We will have news of how to get your hands on one of the remain copies of the 'NECROMANCY' CD this week.

If you are after any T's or Hoodies etc. then the remaining stock is back up on Bandcamp but the London show almost wiped us out with the amazing response so head there quick. Most items are sold out and there is just one WTSD T-Shirt left and very few of the other remaining ones.
